Architectural Approval and POA Packet Requests

Exterior property modifications must be reviewed and approved by the WPOA’s Architectural Review Committee. Please complete the Architectural Request Form and email it to [email protected]. Allow 30 days for the Architectural Review Committee to review and approve your request. Please do not start any exterior modifications prior to receiving approval. Sellers of homes or property within WPOA are required by law to provide disclosure information to prospective buyers. A resale disclosure request initiates an inspection to be done by the WPOA Architectural Review Committee for any covenant or encroachment violations that exist on the property. To initiate a request for Resale Disclosure Packet, go to the top of this webpage, select Documents, and Open the Request form. Upon receiving your request, Associa Community Group will provide a disclosure packet within 14 calendar days. During the final sale of your property, lot owners must provide confirmation that they have provided two (2) Marina Gate Key Fobs to the new owner or return them to the Environmental Control Committee Gate Representative, currently, Brenda Crider. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for each key fob not transferred or returned and the key fobs will be deactivated. If you have any questions, please contact the [email protected]

About Us

The Wyndemere Home Owners Association (WPOA) is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit corporation that was set up by the original developers of Wyndemere to manage common space and is dedicated to servicing the needs of our community residents. Like other HOAs, the WPOA enforces the covenants and bylaws, establishes the budget of the community, maintains architectural standards as required by covenants and fosters a sense of community via community events. All Wyndemere lot owners are members of the WPOA and pay dues so that the WPOA has funds to carry out its mission. The Board of Directors (BOD) are elected from among the WPOA members, as each lot in good standing is entitled to vote. Permanent and Adhoc Committees staffed by volunteers from among the membership support the work of the BOD. Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Most meetings are conducted via Zoom; however 3-4 meetings/year are conducted in person at the Belmont Community Center (7124 Belmont Rd. Mineral, VA 23117). BOD meetings and Committee meetings are open to all property owners. An annual Meeting of the Membership is held on the third Saturday in June for the purposes of reporting the state of the association and electing a BOD. All WPOA lot owners “in good standing” can submit their names to be placed on the election ballot for the June BOD elections each year. WPOA Members pay an annual assessment set by the BOD, which finances the operation and maintenance of the community and amenities. Season-long boat slip assignments can be requested by submitting an application and paying a slip fee. Slips are available for rental to members in good standing, with priority given to previous season slip holder, until 1 April of each year, when they become available on first-come, first-served basis to all property owners. Contact [email protected] for more information.
